Jingle Bell Bash 2026

A magical community Christmas celebration in the heart of Maesgeirchen.

Join us for a day packed with Christmas fun, including Santa’s Grotto, stalls, games, our huge JBB tombola, Christmas crafts, festive food and plenty more for the whole family.

Entry to Jingle Bell Bash is completely free, with activities, refreshments and games kept affordable so families can enjoy the day without Christmas costing a fortune.

Santa returns to Jingle Bell Bash for 2026, ready to welcome children and families to our magical Santa’s Grotto.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Our JBB Story

What started as a community Christmas event has become a very special part of Christmas in Maesgeirchen.

2023

Where it began

The first Jingle Bell Bash brought Christmas fun to the community, with Santa even making his way around Bangor before arriving at the event.

2025

JBB returned

After a year away, Jingle Bell Bash came back bigger and better, filling Eglwys y Groes with Santa, stalls, games, prizes and Christmas fun.

£5,000+

An incredible result

Together, the community helped JBB 2025 raise more than £5,000 for Maes-G ShowZone®.

And we're doing it again!

We're bringing Jingle Bell Bash back for another magical Christmas day together on Saturday 5 December.

The people behind the magic

Jingle Bell Bash fundraising team: Mel Hughes, Amanda Lee and Jenna D’Anza

Jingle Bell Bash simply wouldn’t happen without the hard work, time and determination of our fundraising team.

Mel, Jenna and Amanda are ShowZone mums, volunteers and three incredibly community-minded people who give their time throughout the year to help raise the funds that keep Maes-G ShowZone® going. From organising, making and fundraising to selling, sourcing and the countless jobs nobody ever sees, they just get stuck in and make things happen.

Their support doesn’t stop with fundraising either. All three volunteer with ShowZone at our annual Pontio show and have spent years helping with events and activities across the wider community.
